The membrane pump supplies fungi with humidity and oxygen in 24-hour continuous operation (filtration function throug water, better filtration with mircrofilter).
Please choose:
Design Humidity/CO2-pump 250 l / h
Pump duty: 250 liters of air per hour for grow kits with a volume of 30 - 100 liter.
Design Humidity/CO2-pump 350 l / h
Pump duty: 250 liters of air per hour for grow kits with a volume of 100 - 200 liter.
Installing the humidifier:
First connect both of the silicone tubes to the holes in the lids of the plastic box, one of them (A) reaching about 1 cm through the hole, the other (B) about 4 - 5 cm. To this end connect the ceramic diffuser. Fill with fresh tap water ¾ of the volume of the box and close the lid. Important: The ceramic diffuser has to be completely under water, the inside end of (A) must be in the air above the water level.
If you use an additional microfilter, cut the tube and install the filter between the box and the pump.
The last step is linking tube (B) to the air pump and tube (A) to the grow kit. The button above the pump connection regulates the amount of air, controlling ventilation and humidity inside the greenhouse. Change the water every 2 - 3 weeks. Adjust the system to the necessary conditions for mycelium growth of your fungi species. Try to keep the greenhouse as dark as possible during this phase (except for your daily control).
