Über die Autor:
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jan I. Lelley ist seit über 40 Jahren auf dem Gebiet der angewandten Mykologie tätig. Er war Professor an der Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität in Bonn und hielt dort sowie an der Corvinus Universität in Budapest Vorlesungen über Nutzpilze, ihre Biotechnologie und Produkte. Er war Direktor der Versuchsanstalt für Pilzanbau und ist Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Gesellschaft für angewandte Mykologie und Umweltstudien GmbH, beide in Krefeld. Prof. Lelley ist auswärtiges Mitglied der Ungarischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, Autor bzw. Mitautor von weit mehr als hundert wissenschaftlichen Publikationen sowie zahlreichen Fach- und Sachbüchern.
