Organic skin creme: Reishi, Shiitake & Edelweiss - Skin creme

Medicinal mushrooms are all-rounders! As a source of natural bioactive ingredients, medicinal mushrooms are valuable raw materials for skin care.
 
Our organic medicinal mushroom cosmetics are produced without genetic engineering and without animal testing, in accordance with the law. They are free from synthetic fragrances, nanoparticles, parabens, mineral oil-based ingredients, as well as dyes and artificial flavors.The creams have a very subtle, light natural scent of fresh rose petals and lime.Out of conviction in our mission, we also comply with the “Guidelines for Organic Production” for these products. This is monitored and confirmed by the independent Austrian control body “Austria Bio Garantie.” Our skin care products are therefore entitled to bear the label “certified organic cosmetics in accordance with the Guidelines for Organic Production” and thus meet one of the world's highest standards for organic and natural cosmetic products.

Application:
After cleansing the face, neck, and décolleté, apply sparingly with gently circular fingertip movements and massage in gently. The creams are very rich and are suitable for day and night care as well as a make-up base. The skin is deeply regenerated, protected, and nourished, and a light protective film is noticeable, leaving the skin feeling relaxed and supple.
The creams are also suitable for hands, arms, and legs. Particularly rough hands, e.g., after kitchen or garden work, quickly become pleasantly soft again with these valuable extracts. Cracked, flaky, stressed, and sore skin areas, as well as the sensitive diaper area, are optimally protected and cared for. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. 

We have used the following ingredients in this product (ingredients marked with * are from certified organic cultivation):

Sunflower oil*:
Due to its high linoleic acid content and relatively low proportion of saturated fatty acids, sunflower oil is a light, non-greasy and mildly nourishing oil. A sustainable and local alternative to resource-intensive oils such as palm oil.

Organic rose hydrosol*:
The rose is considered the “queen of flowers” and has been used for thousands of years in high-quality body care products. We use particularly high-quality hydrolate from freshly picked organic rose blossoms without any additives.

Coconut oil*:
Coconut oil has a high content of lauric acid, minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins. It has a moisturizing effect and a slightly cooling effect on the skin.

Hemp oil*:
Hemp oil is an excellent base ingredient in natural cosmetics. The unsaturated fatty acids it contains consist almost exclusively of the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and alpha-linoleic acid, as well as the rare gamma-linoleic acid.

Jojoba oil*:
This oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub. Strictly speaking, it is a liquid wax and therefore particularly protective and nourishing. It penetrates the skin quickly, leaving it particularly supple and velvety soft.

Beeswax*:
Due to its natural emulsifying properties, cosmetic products containing beeswax do not require the use of synthetic emulsifiers. Beeswax also has a moisturizing effect and is beneficial for dry skin in need of care.

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) extract*: 
This mushroom is called “Ling Zhi” in China and “Reishi” in Japan. Traditions suggest that this fascinating mushroom has a history dating back around 4,000 years. In East Asia, Reishi is traditionally a symbol of health, physical and mental recovery, long life, high sexual activity, wisdom, and wealth. Reishi is rich in micronutrients such as iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, manganese, and germanium. The polysaccharides and triterpenes contained in reishi, such as ganoderic acids, ganolucidic acids, and lucidemic acids, are particularly valuable.

Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) extract*: 
The Japanese name “shiitake” is composed of “take” (= mushroom) and ‘shii’ (= Pasania tree) and literally translates as “mushroom that grows on trees.” It is native to Japan, Korea, and China, where it has been used successfully for medicinal purposes for more than 2000 years and is also valued as a special delicacy. It contains lenthionine, which is typical for shiitake, as well as high-quality proteins, all essential amino acids, and is rich in vitamins and minerals.

Edelweiss tincutre*: 
The edelweiss used also comes from sustainable organic cultivation in the Tyrolean mountains. Alpine edelweiss has been used traditionally in the Alps for centuries and usually grows in very exposed locations on high mountains. In order to survive in this harsh environment, even in cold weather and strong sunlight, edelweiss forms a high concentration of antioxidants, which also protect our skin from harmful environmental influences.

French algae:
The algae form a fine protective film on the skin. They bind moisture and promote blood circulation, which leads to faster and better absorption of the ingredients into the skin. Algae also contain valuable antioxidants and offer the skin additional protection.
