Perlite is foamed rock, that can store large amounts of water. Unlike Vermiculite it releases moisture very easily into the ambient air, which is why we recommend its use as a floor layer in Indoor greenhouse.

This breathing natural sand is a pH-neutral soil additive that enables increased water retention.
It optimises the air-water ratio, moisturises, aerates and is a biological, healthy natural product.
Perlite is sterile and dust-free when purchased.
