Golden oyster mushroom - Pleurotus citrinopileatus - Mushroom patch
Synonyms: Zitronen Austernpilz, Gelber Austernpilz, Tamogitake, Il'mak
The caps of the Golden oyster mushroom are golden yellow to bright yellow, 2 - 5 cm in size, convex to flat when ripe, often depressed in the centre. The stalks are white, attached to the centre of the caps. They usually grow in large clusters that emerge from a single, connected base. Flavour, shelf life and culinary use are similar to the tree oyster mushroom.

The mushroom spawn should be processed immediately after delivery.
If the product cannot be processed immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator at 4 °C for up to 2 weeks.
