Organic Reishi - China-Stamm - Ganoderma lucidum - Mushroom patch

Synonyms: Zehntausend-Jahre-Pilz, Ling Zhi, Jong Si/ryongji, Glänzender Lackporling, Mannentake, Pilz der Unsterblichkeit, Kraut spiritueller Kraft

The Reishi China breeding strain was developed primarily for cultivation on ready-to-grow crops in greenhouses. It is ideally suited for the production of antler-like fruiting bodies, the so-called antler mould. The filter bag is kept closed during the entire cycle. This virtually eliminates yield loss due to contamination, although the harvest is somewhat smaller than when grown in an open bag.
This mushroom is called Ling Zhi in China and Reishi in Japan. The German name Glänzender Lackporling refers to the appearance of this typical tree mushroom. According to tradition, this fascinating mushroom has a history of around 4,000 years! In East Asia, reishi is traditionally a symbol of health, physical and mental recovery, long life, high sexual activity, wisdom and wealth.
Reishi is rich in micronutrients such as iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, manganese and germanium. The polysaccharides and triterpenes contained in reishi, such as ganodermic, ganolucid and lucidemic acids, are particularly valuable.
Ganoderma lucidum is a saprobiont (secondary decomposer) that mainly colonises deciduous woods such as oak, beech, alder and birch. It prefers warm oak or mixed oak forests, as well as copper beech forests or hardwood floodplains. However, it can also thrive in hedgerows, parks and along roadsides if the right conditions are provided.

This fresh product is prepared fresh for you to order. The production time is around 3 - 6 weeks.
The mushroom spawn should be processed immediately after delivery.
If the product cannot be processed immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator at 4 °C for up to 2 weeks.
We recommend that you plan for this when ordering.

    Suitable cultivation methods:
Staw bale, wood logsmushroom patch - also for mycological restoration, indoor mycelium bags for cultivation in a greenhouse

Suitable substrate: Straw, paper, coffee grounds, pulp from coffee beans, Maple, birch, beech, oak, alder, ash, aspen, poplar, elm, willow and hardwood
Suitable woods are maple, birch, beech, oak, alder, ash, aspen, poplar, elm and willow.
This breeding strain bears fruit when grown outdoors in late summer to early autumn.

You receive mushroom spawn colonised by mushroom mycelium based on organic raw materials (wood, rye bran from organic farming) in bags specially designed for sterilisation.
Depending on the type of mushroom, they are available and processed as follows:
1 autoclave bag with approx. 1 litre (500 grams) is suitable for inoculation and for propagation over 4 - 8 weeks in sterilised wood substrate before inoculating the mushroom bed (see instructions).
1 autoclave bag with approx. 6 litres of mushroom spawn is suitable for inoculation a mushroom bed measuring 80 x 80 cm.

    Mycological restoration using mushroom beds:
Some types of fungi are suitable for breaking down these toxins and removing them from the environment.
To do this, fungal mycelium from the relevant types of fungi is distributed in the contaminated soil and mixed with a suitable culture medium in order to cover a large area of the pollutant source. The mycelium strands grow through the soil. They absorb individual toxins directly or break them down into their components, rendering them harmless.
The fungus absorbs the toxins into its fruiting bodies. These must be harvested at the end of the life cycle and disposed of properly.
The areas of application for this type of fungus are
    - Bacteria such as Escherichia coli as well as other strains.
