Organic Reishi - China-Strain - Ganoderma lucidum - Indoor spawn bag

Synonyms: Ling Zhi, Jong Si/ryongji, Mannentake

The Reishi China breeding strain was developed primarily for cultivation on finished crops in greenhouses. It is ideally suited for the production of antler-like fruiting bodies, the so-called antler form. The filter bag is kept closed during the entire cycle. This virtually eliminates yield loss due to contamination, although the harvest is somewhat smaller than when grown in an open bag.
This mushroom is called Ling Zhi in China and Reishi in Japan. The German name Glänzender Lackporling refers to the appearance of this typical tree mushroom. According to tradition, this fascinating mushroom has a history of around 4,000 years! In East Asia, reishi is traditionally a symbol of health, physical and mental recovery, long life, high sexual activity, wisdom and wealth.
Reishi is rich in micronutrients such as iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, manganese and germanium. The polysaccharides and triterpenes contained in reishi, such as ganodermic, ganolucid and lucidemic acids, are particularly valuable.
Ganoderma lucidum is a saprobiont (secondary decomposer) that mainly colonises deciduous woods such as oak, beech, alder and birch. It prefers warm oak or mixed oak forests, as well as copper beech forests or hardwood floodplains. However, it can also thrive in hedgerows, parks and along roadsides if the right conditions are provided.

This fresh product is prepared fresh for you to order. The production time is around 3 - 6 weeks.
The mushroom spawn should be processed immediately after delivery.
If the product cannot be used immediately, it can be stored in the refrigerator at 4 °C for up to 2 weeks.
We recommend that you plan for this when ordering and making your preparations in accordance with the instructions.
