This genus is distributed worldwide in the tropical and subtropical zone under the following climatic conditions:
Mycelium growth / spawn run: 28 °C
Primordia formation: 23.3 - 25.6 °C
Fruiting: 23 - 26 °C
This is not a true albino variety, but a leucistic, i.e. a defect mutation. If the P. Cubensis A+ is exposed to light, it can produce pigments. To grow white mushrooms, it must be exposed to a minimal amount of light as soon as the first cap emerges from the soil, but not be exposed to complete darkness.
