    Organic Elm Oyster Mushroom - Hypzisigus ulmarius - Mushroom patch

    The Elm Oyster Mushroom is a delicious edible mushroom that is often mistakenly sold as an ‘oyster mushroom’ at markets. It can be used in cooking in the same way as oyster mushrooms, but the fruiting bodies are larger and have a slightly more intense flavor than oyster mushrooms. It turns white to light gray and light brown, depending on the substrate and location.

    Mushroom patch is always made fresh on demand. Production time: 3 - 6 weeks.
    This product is fresh produce and should be processed immediately after delivery. 
    If the product is not processed immediately, it can be stored in refrigeration at 4° Celsius for a maximum of 2 weeks.

    Suitable cultivation methods:

    Suitable substrates: straw, paper, coffee grounds, pulp of coffee beans, Hardwood

    You receive fully colonised mushroom spawn made from organic materials (wood, rye-bran from organic cultivation).
    1 autoclave bag with approx. 6 litres of spawn is suitable for inoculation of a mushroom patch of 80 x 80 cm.
